Oscar at the Oscars? I should say I'd like to think so. Oscar De La Renta debuted a stunning tiered black mermaid gown that I would love to see on the red carpet come Oscar time, along with Marchesa's gorgeous sculpted little scarlet number. The red carpet will also be craving a couple of these bridal styles (I'm loving how you can wear white wedding gowns without being a bride and gowns of pale pink or beige if you are one). Tossing tradition aside and bending the rules to make for a much better set of dresses on Oscar night.
Impressive would be an understatement when it comes to Naeem Khan's collection. This designer certainly has a an eye for the extraordinary in the lines he creates, from his classic Hollywood styles to his cool celebutante techniques. I can definitely see a his gowns glittering the red carpet on starlets a plenty who could really stand out in any one of the pieces from his collection. I absolutely adored his show, so here's a taste of it with love:
